Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 June 2026

This Policy explains what personal data Blab collects, how we use it, and your rights. It applies to your use of the Blab platform.

1. Data we collect

Account data: your name, email and authentication credentials (passwords are stored only as salted hashes).

Content data: text you submit, audio you upload (e.g. voice-clone clips), and the audio we generate for you.

Usage data: jobs run, characters and audio-seconds processed, models used, and basic technical logs (request id, timestamps). We redact secrets and do not log audio contents or tokens.

2. How we use data

To provide the service (generate speech, clone voices, dub media), to meter usage and billing, to secure accounts, to support you, and to improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Processors & sharing

We process model requests through our AI gateway (Qevron) and store audio in object storage and metadata in our database. These providers act as processors under contract. We share data with payment providers only as needed to take payment. We may disclose data where required by law.

4. Voice data

Uploaded clips and cloned-voice artifacts are sensitive. They are accessible only to you and your workspace via authenticated, signed-URL access, and are deleted when you delete the voice or your account.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. When you delete a workspace or account, we delete its voices, generated audio and stored files and remove the underlying records.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, export and delete your data from Settings (machine-readable export and account deletion are built in). Depending on your location you may have additional rights under the GDPR or KVKK — see the KVKK notice. Contact us to exercise any right.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, hashed credentials, scoped API keys, rate limiting and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of material breaches as required by law.

8. Contact
